After breakfast at your hotel , enjoy a full-day guided tour of Istanbul by comfortable minibus, taking in the highlights of the old Sultanahmet district. We begin our tour of the Sultanahmet district, the heart of old Istanbul, at Hagia Sophia. Built by the Emperor Justinian in the early 6th century AD and designed by Anthemius of Tralles and Isodore of Miletus, the church is one of the marvels of world architecture. Converted into a mosque in 1453, it is now a museum. Its massive dome still dominates the skyline of old Istanbul. It is also famed for its mosaics, including glittering portraits of emperors and empresses and a poignant Virgin and Child.
Next we visit the Blue Mosque which takes its name from the exquisite tiles adorning its interior. Built by Sultan Ahmet in the early 17th century and designed by a pupil of Sinan, the greatest of Ottoman architects, it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. Its courtyard is especially grand. The Hippodrome, the stadium of ancient Byzantium, held 100,000 spectators and featured objects from all corners of the empire. Of these, an Egyptian obelisk and a bronze sculpture of three entwined serpents from Delphi survive.
Afterwards we begin our tour at Topkapi Palace , which, from the 15th to the 19th century, was the principal residence of the Ottoman Sultans. We will visit the fabulous Imperial Treasury and the Baghdad Kiosk. Topkapi Palace is now a museum and has unrivalled collections of jewelry, including the Spoonmaker’s Diamond, the 3rd largest in the world. It also possesses numerous Ottoman court costumes and ceramics, notably including one of the world’s finest collections of Chinese celadon ceramics, many of which were gifts from other rulers. Interestingly, some of the ceramics have a special glaze that was said to change color in the presence of poison. We also visit the Imperial Armory, displaying centuries of Ottoman weaponry. But perhaps the loveliest feature of Topkapi Palace are its courtyards with their ancient trees; it is easy to imagine the sultan strolling here far from the cares of state and empire.
After lunch break we begin with a brief visit to the 17th century Spice Bazaar, one of Istanbul’s most colorful, bustling attractions. Next, we travel the Golden Horn on our way to an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the majestic strait that runs through Istanbul, linking Europe and Asia. From our cruise boat, we view the dramatic sights lining the Bosphorus’ wooded shores: mosques, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest and Rumeli Hisari, a massive fortress built by Mehmet the Conqueror in just three months as he prepared to take Istanbul. Also noteworthy on this tour are the 19th century mansions of the Ottoman elite and the Sultans’ fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges. After early breakfast depart for the Gallipoli. Distance from Istanbul to Gelibolu is 275 kilometers and need to drive approx. 4 hours. Arrive in Gallipoli and begin your excursion to the famous World War I sites.

The village is famous for its local grape and other fruit wines and features a charming church dedicated to St. John. During your walk around the village you will have opportunities to taste different types of local cuisine, fruits, olives, homemade bread and Turkish the famous local pastry “gozleme”. After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Pamukkale (approx.3,5 hrs) that has the meaning of the Cotton Castle in English. Once known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls. After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35 °C to 100 °C The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters (1,050 ft.) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 60 to 70 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in a hotel pool’s hot spring mineral Waters. End of the tour drive to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Pamukkale.

After breakfast drive to Koycegiz. (Driving Distance: 180 km – Travel time: 3 hours). Arriving at the lakeside town of Koycegiz, we embark upon a boat cruise to Turtle Beach.
Marvel at the Dalyan Canal as it weaves its way from Koyceğiz Lake to the beach, a peninsula jutting out from the mainland. Famous for the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta) that lay their eggs in the sand, as well as blue crab, the beach is now protected to help conserve the turtles, making it out of bounds to the public from May through September. Jump into a mud bath for an indulgent and therapeutic wallow before your return transfer to Fethiye. End of the day we drive to Fethiye for overnight.
After breakfast today we explore the quaint Greek village of Kayakoy.
The ghost town of Kayakoy – a cluster of about a thousand centuries-old stone houses scattered across a hillside – has a poignant history. Formerly inhabited by Greek citizens of the Ottoman Empire and known by the Greek name of Levissi, it was abandoned in 1923 after the Greek-Turkish population exchange that took place after the founding of the Turkish Republic.
Walking among the crumbling, empty houses and through the narrow lanes can be rather eerie, but the deserted village has a surreal beauty to it. There are a couple of churches and chapels, of which the most significant is the Panayia Pyrgiotissa (built in 1888), where a few fragments of frescoes and mosaics can still be seen.
This afternoon we drive to Oludeniz. Oludeniz also known as Blue Lagoon is one of the most popular holiday destinations of Turkey and Europe. Its unique sea and fantastic view makes the village popular and one of the most photographed beach of the world.
There are many activities in the valley. The most famous and important one is tandem flight, paragliding. Babadag mountain is 2 km high and thousands of paragliders visit the valley for a stunning flight experience. Oludeniz beach has an official Blue Flag which means it’s completely safe and clean to swim. Overnight in Fethiye.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Saklikent Gorge. Saklikent (Hidden City) Gorge is the second-largest (20 km-long) gorge in Europe, the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey, about a 40 minutes’ drive from Fethiye.
It is a spectacular place, with sculpted walls soaring high above. Four km. of the gorge is walkable after April when most of the snow from the Taurus Mountains has melted and passed through the gorge on its way to the Xanthos River. Summer is the best time to visit as the canyon is deliciously cool and shady with cold water. End of the day we arrive to Antalya for overnight.
After breakfast proceed to discover the ancient city of Perge, an impressive archaeological site. Marvel at the amphitheater in Aspendos and see Kursunlu Waterfalls as well.
We begin with a visit to the ancient city of Perge, a Roman archaeological site. See the amphitheater, stadium, gates and city walls. Continue to Aspendos, known for its Theater of Aspendos, one of the world’s best-preserved examples of Roman theater architecture. Every summer it hosts the Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival.
After lunch break, explore the ancient ruins of Side. This spectacular city is situated on a peninsula, and features ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine eras. The most spectacular sight is the Temple of Apollo in the old harbor. On the way back to Antalya, enjoy a refreshing dip at Kursunlu Waterfalls Natural Park.
After breakfast departure at around 08:00 from Antalya to Konya for 304 km long-4 hours.
On arrival to Konya you will visit the worldwide famous Mevlana museum – an original lodge of the whirling dervishes. It is a big complex with lots of rooms containing amazing artifacts dating back to Seljuk times. Discover the each part of Mevlana museum and after have a break for lunch. Next you will visit a beautiful Kervansaray (caravanserai) located between Konya and Aksaray. (Driving distance from Konya to Aksaray Konya is 151 km – 2 hours) After driving 1,5 hours we arrive to Cappadocia region. Overnight in Cappadocia.
After breakfast proceed to visit Esentepe which is the best panoramic view point of Cappadocia. Next we will go on to the Kaymakli Underground City, The city was used in the Byzantine era, for protection from Muslim Arabs during the Arab–Byzantine wars (780-1180). The city was connected with Derinkuyu underground city through miles of tunnels. Some artifacts discovered in these underground settlements belong to the Middle Byzantine Period, between the 5th and the 10th centuries A.D. These cities continued to be used by the Christian inhabitants as protection from the Mongolian incursions of Timur in the 14th century After this visit we will drive to Uchisar Castle, natural rock hill which has been used as a Fortress during Roman periods, cave and pigeon houses carved in and around the hill look most interesting.
After Uchisar castle tour will go on to the Goreme Open Air Museum. The world’s most significant Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. You will marvel at the best preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule Icons with scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe. Next stop is a local restaurant for lunch break in Avanos town.
In Avanos the pottery centre of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak (Red River) named due to red clay deposits. Here you will see potters at work using kick wheels, the technique which has remained unchanged for generations. Continue to Monks valley where you can find some Churches and Monks Cells. . Last stop will be the Urgup townfor famous “Fairy Chimneys” After our tour ends we will transfer to our hotel back.
Today we drive to the World Heritage Listed town of Safranbolu for 445 km long-6 hours. Safranbolu is place of where symbolizing the humanity, friendship, common life culture, the enchanting town, not only a splendid dance of aesthetic and art but also it makes a strong friendship between the land and human, wood and stone, the city and nature, death and life. We stay in an Ottoman mansion home in Safranbolu.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to walking tour of the old town before returning to Istanbul. We are able to visit Hidirliktepe (Namazgah), Kaymakamlar Mansion, Arasta Bazaar, Lutfiye Kacak Mosque and Clock Tower. Afterwards we start to journey towards to Istanbul for 406 km long-5 hours. Overnight at the hotel which is located on the old town of Istanbul.
With so much history, it’s time to take a little shopping break! Istanbul is not only famous for historical and cultural sights, its also well know for its fantastic shopping opportunities. We head to the Grand Bazaar, where you’ll have the chance to barter on everything from fine leather goods, to spices and plenty of sweets to satisfy your sweet tooth! There are nearly 4000 stalls here, so you’re sure to find something for yourself. The remainder of the afternoon and evening offers free time.
