Terms and Conditions For Booking Turkey Packaged Tours
Before making a reservation at Rivos Tour & Travel Agency we encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they constitute a contract agreement between Rivos Tour & Travel Agency and you from the time the booking is made. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all the people in the group and is responsible for all payments due.
Having fully explored our website and found a tour which suits you or create the new one , simply complete the short booking form or send us email for your booking. We will check availability for your preferred date and respond by e-mail . Once availability has been confirmed and you are happy to go ahead with the booking . An e-mail confirming all the details of the tour, including hotel name and domestic flights if booked with us, will be sent to you shortly . Most importantly, please ensure you send us your full name as per your passport so we can make your flight reservations correctly.
Deposit and Payments
Tour payments are divided into 2 steps. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your order by email and a non refundable deposit as shown in the table below. Progressive payment is then due as indicated below.

TOURS WITH DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
We accept payment By Bank Transfer only.The full amount of your tour must be paid 45 days before the tour start date. If full payment is not received by this time we consider it a cancellation and cancellation penalties will apply. If you have booked any of our tours including domestic flight tickets, then cancellation penalties and the full amount of the flights will be charged.A reservation can be changed only if space is available. An entire reservation that is changed will be considered a cancellation and will be subject to cancellation fees (100% loss of deposit).
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and signed by the tour participants. In the event that a tour participant cancels his or her reservation, the cancellation penalty may apply. If you have booked a tour including domestic flight tickets then the domestic flight tickets are charged at the full amount.
Cancellations must be made at least 90 days before tour date otherwise late penalties will apply.
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so in writing. You will then be subject to the following cancellation charges:
90-or more prior to arrival 10% of total cost as service fee
89-61 days prior to arrival 30% of total cost
60-46 days prior to arrival 40% of total cost
45-30 days prior to arrival 50% of total cost
29-21 days prior to arrival 70% of total cost
20 days or less prior to departure 100% of total cost
Flight tickets are not included in this cancellation policy. Once your flight tickets are purchased, any changes to the dates of the program will incur a change fee or in case of cancellation (this is additional to the service fee), 100% cancellation fee for the flight tickets will be incurred regardless of the above cancellation policy.
The responsibility of RIVOS TOUR and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. As a tour & travel agency ; RIVOS TOUR organizes, promotes and sells tour programs consisting of certain travel services, including surface/air/water transportation, sightseeing tours, and cruise/hotel accommodations that RIVOS TOUR purchases or reserves from various suppliers.
We exercise every care in the selection of reputable airlines, tour operators, coach operators, hotels and other suppliers of the various travel services used in these tours. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with RIVOS TOUR are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers and other service providers but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire and restaurant operators, whose services we utilize, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage.
We always do our best to ensure that your vacation arrangements are satisfactory and we accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by you as the result of our negligence, or that of our employees or agents.
However, the company does not accept any liability of whatever nature or the acts, omissions or default whether negligent or otherwise of those airlines, coach operators, shipping and cruise companies, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with your tour arrangements pertinent to a contact between themselves and yourselves (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of a ticket, voucher, coupon or the like) and over which the company has no direct and exclusive control.
RIVOS TOUR does not accept responsibility in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force major or other events which is beyond its control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on the part of RIVOS TOUR, including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to, or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such actions may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group).
Passports & Visas & Clients Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all the necessary travel documents and that they are valid and effective. You will need a current passport that is valid for at least 6 months and the necessary visa documentation. Passengers must apply for and obtain a single or multiple entry Turkey visa for our Turkey programmes . It is your responsibility to fullfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements.
You shall carry a valid passport at all times. Passport, VISA, and vaccination requirements are not our responsibility and we are not liable for any loss or expense due to your failure to comply with the above. It remains your responsibility to ensure any documents in order and to meet any additional costs incurred (whether by the client or by RIVOS TOUR on the client’s behalf) because of failure to comply with such requirements.
We will provide invitation letters to obtain any of these visas for those who have booked and paid a deposit. The cost of visas is not included in your tour package. Check your local embassy and the information below for visa procedures.

As of April 17, 2013, electronic visa (e-Visa) replaces “sticker visa” which was issued at the border crossings. Applicants just need to log on to the following link, provide the requested information, (after the application is approved) make online payment and download their e-Visa .
You accept that you may be travelling through areas of political, climatic instability, high altitudes, and remote areas without proper medical services, and accept the associated risks. The making of a booking constitutes your acceptance of all booking terms and conditions as described herein and forms the basis of your contract with RIVOS TOUR.
Travel insurance is a vital part of your arrangements. We strongly recommend that you have taken out adequate insurance for the duration of your journey. Travel insurance is a mandatory element of some travel arrangements. Please note that Travel Insurance is not required in Turkey but is recommended.
